The PhD course in Veterinary and Animal Sciences offers several research research topics crossing over a wide range of disciplines related to Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science. The research and teaching activity is supported by 96 teachers that belong to the Schools of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology of the University of Milan. The course is 3 years long. Each PhD student is supervised by a tutor who will support him/her along the entire research project. The student must attend a number of lectures/classes, seminars, workshops and specific training activities along the entire length of the course. The current schedule of teaching activities for each class is available on their respective page. For each student, a research secondment of at least 3 months in a foreign research Institution is required. In this frametime, a 50% salary increase will we applied. PhD candidates are recruited following a comparative qualification, which is usually taken in September. - 2nd cycle degree (master-level) awarded by an acknowledged foreign university.
- English language proficiency at least at Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). A list of the accepted certificates is available here
