Statistical Methods Applied to Epidemiology and Animal Sciences

The aims are to provide statistical skills, for epidemiological purposes, regarding infectious diseases and technopathies of livestock animals, and basic statistics skills helpful both for planning a research study and for understanding the results of experimental tests in animal and veterinary science fields. The course will include the use of statistical packages both online or installed with a university license, for the processing of data from specific case reports. Use of the SAS statistical package for the organization of the data, and for the identification of the most suitable statistical procedure for the interpretation of the results.
