VAS Days 2026

The PhD School in Veterinary and Animal Sciences is pleased to invite you to the tenth edition of the VAS DAYS, which will take place on 14–16 September 2026.

Throughout the three-day conference, sessions will cover a wide range of topics in Reproduction, Embryology and Functional Anatomy; Infectious Diseases, Parasitology and Toxicology; Veterinary Clinical and Pathological Sciences; and Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Animal Sciences.

A major novelty this year is that all our invited speakers come from the non-academic sector and conduct research in industrial or professional settings. Through their scientific contributions and personal experiences, they will offer our PhD students valuable insights into what it means to pursue research beyond academia, while providing an excellent opportunity for discussion, exchange and networking.

We are delighted to announce our invited speakers:

  • Dr Federico Randi, CEVA Santé Animale, Italy
  • Dr Giuliano Pisoni, Zoetis, Italy
  • Dr Aldo Vezzoni, Clinica Veterinaria Vezzoni, Italy
  • Dr Clarissa Zamboni, L.A.V., Italy
  • Dr Chlotilde Villot, Lallemand Animal Nutrition, France
  • Dr Lena Dicks, Cargill, The Netherlands

The programme will also feature a panel discussion on “Artificial Intelligence applied to Veterinary Research”, with:

  • Dr Gennaro Abbruzzese, Università Bocconi, Italy
  • Dr Massimiliano Melis, AITEM, Italy
  • Dr Giosuè Moscato, Università Bocconi, Italy
