VAS TALK: The road to the cultivation of human norovirus in vitro
The PhD school in Veterinary and Animal Sciences is pleased to invite you to the second VAS Talk which will be delivered by : Dr Kosuke Murakami, Laboratory of Unidentified Pathogen Investigation, Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response, National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Japan titled “The Road to the Cultivation of Human Norovirus in vitro”.
The main talk will be followed by short communications:
Tsuyoshi Hayashi, title Antinoroviral research using human intestinal organoids.
Sakura Kobayashi, title Study of the lipid involvement with norovirus infection in human intestinal organoids.
Kenichiro Takahashi, title Epidemiological study on the diversity and circulation of adenoviruses in pediatric respiratory infections.
The Talk will cover delivered by Dr Kosuke Murakami will cover ‘The Road to the Cultivation of Human Norovirus in vitro’. His main talk will be complemented by short communications by his colleagues, Tsuyoshi Hayashi, Sakura Kobayashi, and Kenichiro Takahashi, for a full overview of the application of in vitro culture to studying the norovirus and an excursus on the epidemiology of adenovirus in the respiratory syndrome of pediatric patients.
